Year one
What the voyage will do
- Observe and record the location, species, seasonal abundance and movement of naturally detached seaweed
- Measure biomass density and accumulation patterns
- Collect small samples for laboratory testing
- Share the findings with schools and the community
Observation, not harvesting. Any future collection or use would be subject to scientific findings, feasibility assessment and relevant approvals.
