There is only one 'ecological war hero' museum ship in the world, the MV Steve Irwin, all others are to celebrate wars against man, against the planet. The ships campaign now is to celebrate what 'The Steve' and volunteer crew have done to protect the oceans from exploitation and for 'the education and inspiration of ocean conservation' 
 
Ships require a lot of maintenance, governance, events, displays and exhibitions also require investment.
